Claude, from Anthropic, is a leading AI model for writing, analysis and coding. Its business plans don't use your data for training by default, and it has add-ins and a connector for Microsoft 365. We still recommend the right tool for each job, not one tool for everything.
Is it safe to put client information into Claude?
On business plans and the API, Anthropic doesn't train its models on your data by default, and admins control access and retention. We pair that with an AI use policy, sensitivity labels and data loss prevention, so the right information goes in and the wrong information stays out.
Do we need Claude if we already have Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Not necessarily. Copilot and Claude overlap, and Microsoft now offers Claude models inside some Copilot experiences. We'll look at what you have and recommend the most cost-effective mix rather than doubling up.
