Yes, if your staff use AI at all. Without one, people make their own decisions about what to share. A short, practical policy plus approved tools is the fastest way to reduce that risk.
What is the Guidance for AI Adoption?
It's the Australian Government's practical guidance for organisations using AI responsibly, released in October 2025. It covers accountability, risk management, transparency, testing and human oversight, and we use it as the framework for your AI governance.
Can you block AI tools we haven't approved?
Yes. Using Microsoft Defender, Intune and web filtering we can block or limit unapproved AI apps, and use data loss prevention to stop sensitive information being pasted into them.
