Doesn't Microsoft already back up Microsoft 365?

Microsoft protects against its own infrastructure failing, not against you losing data. Recycle bins and deleted items only keep data for a limited time, and anything an attacker encrypts or deletes can sync everywhere. An independent backup gives you a clean copy outside your tenant.

Where is our backup data stored?

We use reputable cloud storage and can keep your backups in Australian data centres where your obligations require it. The location is documented as part of setup.

How often do you test restores?

On a regular schedule agreed with you, and after major changes. Each test is logged with what was restored, how long it took and the result.
